Dry Skin

Dry skin can be hereditary but often comes with weather changes, over washing or simply age!

Your skin cells do not produce enough oil, like a brick wall without glue, the cells start flaking and the skin feels rough. You also lack sebum (the oils that coat the surface). Without this waterproof layer, the skin's water evaporates hence the tight feelings.

Dry Skin

Dry skin, is a type of skin that manifests itself as rough skin, that feels coarse to the touch. It is accompanied by discomfort, tightness and sometimes even itching.
Dry skin is explained by a change in the physiological characteristics of the structure of the superficial layer of the epidermis, the stratum corneum. These changes include a decrease in the production of the lipids that make up the hydrolipidic film. The latter limits the elimination of water contained in the dermis and, therefore, maintains the skin's hydration
Dry skin requires specific care and, in particular, the use of soap free cleansing products and the daily application of lipid rich moisturizer such as Nuxe reve de miel face balm, Darphin Hydraskin Rich cream or Thalion nutri-protective cocoon cream, which helps restore the skin's barrier function.
A weekly mild exfoliation and nourishing mask is also beneficial, try Pevonia enzymo-spheride peeling cream followed by Thalion nutrimarine lipid replenishing mask
