AHA

Glycolic acid is the smallest and penetrate deeper into the skin, it is best suited for oilier skin, thicker skin or skin with sun damage or environmental damage (sun, smoke, pollution)

Lactic acid is a bigger molecule and because it does go as deep it does not irritate the skin and can be used by sensitive or dry skin. Lactic also has lightening action, perfect for skin with hyperpigmentation or sunspots.

Mandelic Acid is antibacterial and lightening making it a perfect peel or serum if you experience acne, acne rosacea or premenopausal acne. it also helps "shrink pores"

Azelaic acid is best suited for skin experiencing diffuse redness or discoloration from sensitive acne
